Wade Dyke, Kaplan University President, oversees all academic operations for the University's online and campus-based programs. Dr. Dyke draws upon his experience as an educational entrepreneur to help build a learning environment designed for the needs of mobile 21st-century students and their employers.
A former White House Fellow and Rhodes Scholar, Dr. Wade Dyke has been a driving force behind Kaplan University's blended education initiatives. He leads the University's academic strategic vision and advances initiatives that promote quality in curriculum, policies, and practices.
Previously, Dr. Dyke served as Senior Vice President and managing director of Kaplan Higher Education, Kaplan University's parent organization. He was responsible for opening the first Kaplan University Learning Center in Milwaukee, WI, which offers face-to-face support services and classroom learning opportunities for local Kaplan University online students. Dr. Dyke also introduced new learning opportunities for campus-based students by expanding online offerings through Kaplan University's Iowa, Nebraska, Maine, and Maryland campuses.
Dr. Dyke holds a doctorate in politics and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Economics from Oxford University in England. He also received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He was an Assistant Professor of Public Administration at The Ohio State University, and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies.
