Ron
Zoromski joined Kaplan University Group in November, 2011. In his role as Chief Financial Officer, he serves as a strategic finance leader and provides financial expertise to the
organization.
Ron is a senior finance executive who brings world-class finance and business experience via
Price Waterhouse, Motorola, Siemens and most recently, Yaskawa America, where he served as the vice president of finance
and CFO. Ron has significant experience in
global operations and multi-site businesses including work with facilities in China, Costa Rica, Ireland, Singapore, Taiwan, and throughout
the U.S.
He has extensive knowledge of financial and
strategic planning, reporting, accounting, process reengineering, six sigma,
cycle time reduction, and systems implementation. Previously, he has worked with his business partners and teams to successfully bring new products
to market, expand market share, improve profitability, complete a business
turnaround, establish a joint venture, and execute several M&A transactions. In addition to a strong finance
background, Ron spent two years as an IT director leading a
global Y2K effort and overseeing a multisite Oracle implementation. Through
his experience at Motorola, Ron developed significant expertise in driving
process improvement through the use of tools such as six sigma, process mapping, and lean.
Ron is a CPA, and holds an MBA from the
University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in accounting from the
University of Notre Dame. Ron served on the board of the Chicago
Chapter of Finance Executives International and led their Career Management Group. He is currently the treasurer and member of the the
board of Porchlight Music Theatre Chicago.
