The program’s core courses teach design and development skills in the areas of technology, pedagogy, and management principles and practices.  Specializations in the Master of Science in Education in Instructional Technology 

In addition to the core courses, you can choose one of two specialization areas: K-12 or adult learning. The adult learning specialization is further divided into two sub-specializations that address higher education institutions and organizations such as corporate, nonprofit, and military training environments, where the learning contexts are significantly different.
    Focus on the design and development of new curricula to meet the demands of a changing society, new technologies, and the needs of new generations of students in public and private educational institutions.
    Study the design and practice of effective online curriculum, as well as multimedia development and implementation, to prepare to meet the demand for instructional designers, instructional technologists, and media developers in higher education.
    Review design and development models, technology, pedagogy, and management principles and practices used in instructional design in corporations, the military, and nonprofit training environments.

This program requires a $100 technology fee per term.
